WAR MEMORIAL PROJECT UNDER CONSIDERATION
Time and weather have taken their toll on the names engraved on our War Memorial, which is in its original form. We were advised that any attempt to restore or place a plaque on the original war memorial would damage it.
Within St. Paul’s Church there is a Roll of Honour of those men of the parish who gave their lives in the war and a book of commemoration of them and those who also served.
The Parish council were considering a project to place an additional stone close to the existing memorial directing people to this roll of honour inside the church.
